Need a hand tonight?

Nox is a diary for your nights out. Drop a photo at every bar, club and rooftop, and Nox pins it to the map where it happened. When the night ends, it draws your route across the city and builds a card of the whole night.

Tap Start the night on the home screen. At each place you go, open the camera and take a photo. You can check it, add a short message if you like, and tap Use Photo to drop it on the map. End the night when you're done to see your route and card.

The camera takes the photos you drop, and your location places each one on the map. Nox uses your location only while you're using the app, never in the background. You can change both in Settings → Nox.

Nox is available in English, Italian, Turkish, Spanish, German and French, and follows your iPhone's language. To use a different language just for Nox, go to Settings → Nox → Language.

Open the Crew screen and tap Create, give your crew a name and share the invite with your friends. To join, open a friend's invite link or enter their crew code under Join.

Start a night with your crew and everyone drops their own photos. They appear on everyone's map within seconds, and each person's drops show in their own colour. At the end you get one night with everyone's photos, and each person's own distance.

Your nights are private unless you share them with your crew. You can switch any night to Only me at any time, and you can hide a stop's location from your crew.

Tap the menu on a photo or on a crew member and choose Report or Block. When you block someone, their content disappears from your screens straight away and they can no longer see yours. We review every report.

Open the crew, go to its settings and choose Leave crew. Your nights shared with that crew will no longer be visible to its members.

Your photo is saved on your phone and will upload automatically as soon as you have a connection again. There's no need to take it again. If it stays like this for a long time with a good connection, close and reopen the app.

Make sure you're both in the same shared night and have a connection. If it still doesn't appear, go back to the home screen and open the night again. The photo may also be hidden if the stop's location was hidden from the crew.

Distance is calculated from the places where you dropped photos, as a straight line between each stop. If you walked a long way between two stops, the real distance can be longer.

Nox+ unlocks The city tonight, a live map of where the night is happening around you, plus more crews and members. Nox Pro adds unlimited crews and premium posters, and Nox Crew gives Pro to up to 4 friends from your crew. Prices for your country are shown in the app.

Open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Nox, or go to Settings → Nox+ → Manage subscription in the app. Cancel at least 24 hours before it renews. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting your Nox account does not cancel the subscription.

Go to Settings → Nox+ and tap Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy. If it still doesn't work, write to us with the date of purchase.

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

It's an estimate based on public map data, opening hours, time, weather and reports from people out tonight. It's great for finding the lively parts of a city, but a single place can still be quiet or full, so check before you go. You can make it sharper for everyone by tapping How is it now? when you're out.

The city tonight currently covers Europe and Turkey. Outside these areas you'll see an option to explore a city we cover instead.

Check your spam or promotions folder, and make sure you typed the right email address. You can request a new email from the sign-in screen. If it still doesn't arrive, write to support@nox-io.com from the same address.

Open the night and use the delete option, or swipe it in your archive. Its photos, messages and data are deleted permanently.

Go to Profile → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your profile, nights, photos, messages and crew memberships. It can't be undone. See our Privacy Policy for details.
